Maxie Thomas; Look Where He Brought Me From

Maxie Thomas grew up in a Jim Crow Tuscaloosa, Alabama, a town he tried to leave three times but was always drawn back. In 1964 he had to make a decision, to get involved in the movement or protect his job. He decided to be part of the movement for one reason, to make Tuscaloosa a better place for his children and his grandchildren. And that decision made all the difference.
