William Bradford Huie
And his Story of the Murder of Emmett Till

In 1955, two white men murdered a 14-year-old boy in Money, Mississippi for allegedly flirting in some way with a white woman. The jury found the two men not guilty. But Alabama writer/journalist William Bradford Huie knew they had done it and was determined to get to the truth of their story. Film explores the struggle of Huie’s search for the truth, while also asking the questions about what truth is, really, when it comes to history. Hosted by Samford University Professor Christopher Metress.
