Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird

Film explores the world of Harper Lee and Monroeville, Alabama, the place and culture from which so much of the novel came. Film encourages students to realize that stories are not “out there” somewhere but are right in our own back yards and right our of our own lives, the same place they were found by Harper Lee. Hosted by University of Alabama history professor, Lisa Lindquist-Dorr and by Kerry Madden, author of the biography of Harper Lee for young readers.
