Bloom - The Story of Mary Ward Brown
Mary Ward Brown is an Alabama short story writer who, at age 95, still lives in the same house in which she was born in Perry County. Her short stories are known internationally. She won the Penn-Hemmingway Award at age 68 for her first collection of stories, Tongues of Flame. This movie contains interviews with Mary and a student production of one of her stories, "The Amaryllis."
